What is employment mediation?

We act as an intermediary between employers and potential candidates, facilitating the process by identifying job requirements, screening candidates and providing support, ultimately connecting the best workers with companies.

Recruiting is a key service that helps employers find qualified workers for their organizations. This service includes hiring an employment agency that acts as an intermediary between employers and potential candidates. The agency works on identifying the needs of the employer, understanding the specific requirements of the job, and actively searching and selecting candidates who best match those requirements.

One of the key roles of an employment agency in the placement process is to carry out a thorough background check on the qualifications and experience of potential candidates to ensure that they are adequate for the position.

Using recruitment services can bring a number of benefits. This includes access to a wide pool of qualified candidates, reducing the time and resources required to conduct the recruitment process, and ensuring a high level of expertise and professionalism in the selection of candidates.

The responsibilities of agencies for mediation in the employment of foreign workers are:
– finding an adequate worker according to the client’s criteria, carrying out the selection process and delivering the necessary documentation
– preparation and submission of all the documentation necessary to obtain a temporary residence and work permit for citizens of third countries
– covering the costs of travel insurance for workers
– obtaining a visa for residence and work in Croatia
– the cost of a plane ticket for the worker

After obtaining a work permit for a foreign worker, when the worker arrives in the Republic of Croatia, it is necessary to provide accommodation and food for the worker.
Accommodation should meet the minimum requirements for a normal life. If it is not possible to provide food, it is necessary to pay the worker a food allowance.
Furthermore, you are obliged to register the worker for pension and health insurance, just like every Croatian worker.

In order to obtain the necessary permits, the conditions are:
– that you carry out economic activity in an activity registered in the Republic of Croatia
– that you have employed 1/4 of Croatian citizens in relation to citizens of third countries, on an indefinite and full-time basis continuously for the last 6 months
– a certificate from the Tax Administration on no debt due to public benefits, which must be more recent than the date of submission of the application for residence and work permits
– that you have not been legally convicted of criminal offenses in the field of labor relations and social security
